6 more weeks of Winter?!?!

I was a little bummed out that Phil had to give us the news of 6 more weeks of winter. I'm just ready for spring y'all! We celebrated anyway and enjoyed our Groundhog Day festivities. We watched the GMA video of Phil seeing his shadow, we read our weekly reader, we did crafts, and we ate a fun Groundhog Day snack...It was a pretty fun day!

We started the day of making these cute little groundhog hats. My crew always has so much fun making hats!

We also made little Groundhog shadows. All you do is get black construction paper, tape the silhouette of a groundhog to it, and use snow paint to paint around the edge of the silhouette. (snow paint: 1:1 Elmer's glue and shaving cream)

We ended the day with this super cute and easy groundhog snack. All you need is chocolate pudding cups, crumbled Oreos, and a Teddy Graham on top!

I also ended the day reading this cute book, Substitute Groundhog
